If you’re generally pretty healthy, but you aren’t happy about your body, it is definitely worth reading our article 12 reasons to be proud of your body here. Remember, you are unique. You will never feel good unless you accept yourself and all your imperfections and flaws, but that means really learning to love those, and finally not seeing them as imperfections at all, but individual aspects of your perfect self.
If you have experienced trauma or emotional distress at the hands of someone you loved and trusted, the healing process can take some time. In our article about Learning to Forgive, we discuss how forgiveness allows you to let go feelings of bitterness, resentment, and vengeance you have against another person. We suggest that you don’t do this for them, but that you do it for yourself. Genuine forgiveness can help you heal from grief and depression, and prevent the worsening of negative emotions, oppression and depression. Here at Marie Pure we understand that emotions such as anger, bitterness and hate can trigger physical symptoms, such as upset stomachs or high blood pressure.
